St. Michael man sentenced for sex abuse

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A St. Michael man accused of sexually abusing a girl for five years has been sentenced to seven years in prison.

Authorities say 47-year-old Danny Nelson pleaded guilty to a charge of continual sexual abuse of a child in September.

Authorities say Nelson sexually abused the girl from when she was 11 years old until she was 15.
