(WDAY TV) - Oak Grove middle schoolers are trying to do what they can to make it a better Christmas for people in need. Today, 98 students spent time tying fleece blankets for families living in shelters.

The 75 blankets will go to the YWCA and Gladys Ray shelter. Students worked in groups and got the job done in less than two hours. Oak Grove students usually have a gift exchange, but for three years now, they've decided to do something for people in need, instead.
