(WDAY TV) - The Christmas spirit has again moved a generous donor in the F-M area. Another gold Kugerrand has been found in the Salvation Army’s red kettles.

This gold coin was donated over the weekend, somewhere in Fargo. Who's doing it? The Salvation Army doesn't know, but certainly appreciates it.

“This is the 7th year now that we've received gold, we're not sure who's doing it, and this year that donation is a little over 11-hundred dollars. So that's exciting for us.”

The red kettle campaign will continue through 2 p-m December 24th. The Salvation Army needs about 150-thousand dollars to reach its goal of 650-thousand dollars.
