GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Chris Kreider scored two goals and Danny Kristo scored an insurance goal late as the U.S. National Under-20 team beat North Dakota 4-2 Saturday in an men's hockey exhibition game.

Kristo, a freshman forward for the Fighting Sioux, iced the game with an empty-net goal with 17 seconds to play. UND is winless (0-2-2) in its last four home games.

Evan Trupp scored both North Dakota goals, getting one on the power play at 17:37 of the second and the other at 19:11 of the third.

Jason Zucker gave Team USA a 3-1 lead midway through the third period. Trupp's goal gave the Sioux life until Kristo picked up the puck at center ice and skated in alone to score the final goal.
