Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Microsoft employees in Fargo are passing on the tradition of giving back, to their children. About 750 people attended the company's family holiday party tonight. Many workers brought their children.

There wasn't a shortage of activities to keep them occupied. Some decorated ornaments for eight trees that will be given to families in need. Others made 40 fleece blankets to stay warm this winter.

“Because it's helping people that don't, that are hurt or don't have anybody to help them.”

The trees and all the blankets will be donated to the Salvation Army. The non-profit agency will then hand them out to people in need this holiday.
