Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A heroin and hero were honored for their brave efforts in pulling a man from the Red River. Josie Green and Wes Dahl were given the F-M Ambulance Service Lifesaving Award today in Fargo.

In November, Green saved James Littleghost after he fell 20 feet from a railroad bridge into the Red River and brought him to shore.

Dahl, a paramedic, arrived. He tied a rope to his waist and to a tree, and then lowered himself down to Littleghost, bringing him to safety.
