Titan Machinery 3rd-quarter results down 30 percent as construction sales lag

FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Fargo-based Titan Machinery Inc. says its third-quarter profit fell 30 percent.

The company cites climbing expenses and a challenging construction industry.

Titan operates agriculture and construction equipment stores. It reported net income of $5.7 million, or 32 cents per share. That compared with $8.2 million, or 45 cents per share, a year ago.
