BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The holder of North Dakota's biggest lottery ticket ever has claimed his $1.6 million prize.

Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem is holding a news conference in Grafton Monday to present the man and his family with a ceremonial check. He's not being identified until then. The ticket was sold at Wally's Supermarket in Grafton.

The man won the jackpot during the Nov. 25 drawing for the Wild Card 2 lottery game. It's played in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Idaho.

It's the ninth Wild Card 2 jackpot ticket sold in North Dakota. The game starts with a $100,000 jackpot and builds up until someone wins it. The last North Dakota jackpot was won in April by three employees of the Coffee Cup cafe in Steele.
