(WDAY TV) - Battling budget cuts starts in the kitchen, for some Otter Tail County employees. They're selling a cookbook to raise money and spirits for government workers. Employees compiled their favorite recipes and sell the book for ten dollars.

They use the money for things they no longer have in their budget, like two annual employee parties and holiday decorations

“If we didn't have any profit on this then we wouldn't be able to, we just went and bought a new Christmas tree because it needed to be replaced, so that's what we used the money for.”

You can buy one of the cookbooks at the Otter Tail County government services building.
