Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Police arrested a Moorhead woman who drove her car onto a sidewalk in Halstad, hitting at least seven people early Sunday morning. 20-year-old Michelle Torres drove away from the scene outside of the American Legion when she was hit by another driver who didn't stop at an intersection about two blocks away.
Torres faces nearly two-dozen charges, including nine felonies. None of the people she hit were seriously hurt.
She's being held on $50-thousand dollars bond. Authorities say they believe alcohol was a factor in the incident.
Police are still looking for the driver who hit Torres in the intersection.
