Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Black Friday got off to a bang in Fargo. Hundreds lined up outside last night at Toys R Us as the store opened just after midnight. People also crowded the doors outside West Acres Mall, which opened at 2:30 a-m.

The first stop for many was Bath and Body Works. It and Aerpostale opened at 3am. Waiting in line wasn't all bad; employees gave mini massages and some bonus gift bags. Lines then moved to department stores which opened between 3 and 5. Holly Madlom was one of the first ones in the mall.

“They made us wait, and we saw them shopping and they're doing their stuff, it was hot and long. A lot of people looking at windows knowing which direction they're gonna go when they get in there.”

The first customers at Best Buy started camping out Tuesday. They braved the cold weather to be first in line. Crowds literally ran into the store when the doors opened at 5 am.

“These people are crazy. I'm crazy!”

From the front of the line to the back, young and old feel the excitement, the anticipation, the rush of a good deal. Tristen and Andres both want laptops, so they've been here since Tuesday.

These bargain shoppers wait and wait until finally the wait is over, and the madness begins. Computers, TVs, video games and more fly off the shelves with some of the lowest prices you'll see all year.

And then, with sleepy eyes and bright smiles, they wait once more before bring those Black Friday deals home to wrap up and enjoy. More than 134-million consumers around the nation say they'll be hitting the stores this weekend to shop for holiday gifts.
