Troopers ID 2 people killed in crash near Wing
WING, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a Tuttle couple killed in the collision of a car and a semitrailer in Burleigh County.
WING, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a Tuttle couple killed in the collision of a car and a semitrailer in Burleigh County.
The Highway Patrol identified the victims as 81-year-old Leonard Landenberger and 75-year-old Doris Landenberger. Troopers say Leonard Landenberger was the driver.
The patrol says the crash happened about 6:45 a.m. Monday when the car ran a stop sign at the intersection of a gravel road and state Highway 14 and ran into the semi, which was hauling two empty hay trailers.
The semi driver was not hurt.
