The bodies of 52-year-old John Kalis and 41-year-old Sharon Kalis were found in their home on Thanksgiving after a 911 call about a domestic dispute.
Pembina County Chief Deputy Jeff Osvold says autopsies done by the state medical examiner's office confirmed the murder-suicide, though a motive is not clear. He did not say which one of the deaths was a homicide.
