WALHALLA, N.D. (AP) — Pembina County authorities are treating the deaths of a husband and wife whose bodies were found in a Walhalla home on Thanksgiving as a murder-suicide.
The sheriff's office says 52-year-old John Kalis and 41-year-old Sharon Kalis were found dead in the home after a 911 call about a domestic dispute at about 3 a.m. Thursday.
Authorities say a final determination on the nature of the deaths will not be made until after autopsies are done.
