Former Bison player joins the Sioux Falls Skyforce

(WDAY Sports) - A former Bison men’s basketball player has earned his first pro contract. Mike Nelson tells WDAY 6 Sports that he's made the NBA developmental league's Sioux Falls Skyforce.
He says he got the news this morning after a short stint with the team in exhibition play. He says hard work made the difference.
“I went to the open tryout with Sioux Falls a month and a half ago and I talked to Coach Fritz after that and he said your definitely good enough, you work your butt off and that's what it's going to take.”
