(WDAY TV) - The Oklahoma man police say plotted to kill his former son-in-law is on his way back to North Dakota. The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office says Cass County authorities picked up Gene Kirkpatrick just before 4:40 this morning. They are now driving back to Fargo.
Police here say Kirkpatrick hired his handyman, Michael Nakvinda, to kill Philip Gattuso.
He paid Nakvinda three thousand dollars to murder the Fargo dentist.
Nakvinda is already back in Fargo, being held in the Cass County jail and awaiting his next court appearance in December.
