Kindred, ND (WDAY TV) - This year's Fill the Dome campaign is bigger than ever, including a record number of schools. For one first year school, it's also getting their whole community motivated.
Kindred High School students are packing up the donations in their first year effort to help feed those in need throughout the state. This year’s effort to Fill the Dome included more than 50 schools.
Seeing the news of last year's campaign got these kindred students motivated and this year they took action. They raised more than 75 hundred food items and 18 hundred dollars in cash, almost double their goal.
But this effort in Kindred included more than just K thru 12 students. It involved their whole community. Kindred students say their efforts will be back again next year.
