After just 1-day of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign, records are already being set.
(WDAY TV) - After just 1-day of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign, records are already being set. First-day donations were almost 16-thousand dollars, almost 47-hundred dollars more than last year.
And because a record was set, Doug Burgum's Kilbourne Group has donated an extra 5-thousand dollars to the cause, bringing the total to almost 22-thouasnd dollars.
There are 31-red kettles at 31-different locations in the F-M area. Volunteers will be ringing until Christmas Eve.
