Arrest made for Moorhead armed robbery; Police ask for help locating a 2nd suspect

Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Police have found one, but need your help finding another accused armed robber suspected to be in the area. With the help of numerous tips from people like you, Moorhead Police identified and arrested one man involved in a November 8th robbery.

30-year old Josh Lowe of Fargo is being held on robbery and weapons related charges in Cass County.

A second suspect is identified as 21-year old John Kukert (coo-kurt) Junior, also of Fargo. He has not been caught.

The two were involved in a home invasion at 908 8th Street south, when police say three men used a pizza man to knock on the door of the apartment, and then held two residents hostage while they robbed the place. The suspects had two shotguns and a handgun.

Police say it was an isolated incident, but Lowe could be dangerous. If you have any information on his whereabouts, call police.

On November 8, 2009 Moorhead Police responded to a report of a Home Invasion/Robbery at 908 8th St S. Since that time we have received numerous leads and information from citizens that has led to the arrest of 30-year-old Joshua Charles Lowe of Fargo. He is currently being held on robbery and weapons related charges in the Cass County, ND Jail awaiting extradition.

One other suspect in this incident has been identified as 21-year-old John Jose Kukert Jr also of Fargo. An arrest warrant has been issued and we are seeking assistance from the public in locating him. Due to the nature of this incident we are asking citizens to exercise caution if you observe this subject. Please contact your local law enforcement agency with any information regarding his whereabouts. (See attached photo)
