MINOT, N.D. (AP) — The state Board of Higher Education has named a Fargo bank executive to lead a committee searching for the next president at North Dakota State University.
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — The state Board of Higher Education has named a Fargo bank executive to lead a committee searching for the next president at North Dakota State University.
Gate City Bank president and CEO Steven Swiontek is the chairman of the 18-member committee. The group will be looking for candidates to replace Joseph Chapman, who resigned in October.
The group includes representatives from the faculty, student body, administration, alumni, development foundation, agriculture, the Board of Higher Education, the state university system and general public.
Chapman's last day is Nov. 30. Interim President Richard Hanson is expected to take over Dec. 1.
