(WDAY TV) - One of the world's most famous pieces of pop memorabilia, Michael Jackson's white sequined glove, goes on sale this weekend in New York City. Jackson wore the glove on stage at the Motown 25th anniversary special in 1983 when he premiered the moonwalk to the world.
The glove has a pre-auction price of between 40-thousand and 60-thousand dollars, but with international interest in the sale, it could fetch six figures.
Jackson's glove and other items go on sale on Saturday at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square.
