(WDAY TV) - 'Tis the season, here's proof. Santa was spotted in Fargo today. Santa and Mrs. Claus were welcomed to Rheault Farm by carolers from Moorhead High School.

It was a kick off party for Santa's village. Kids can come visit the cheery couple every weekend until Christmas comes. Kids will write letters to Santa, decorate cookies with misses Clause, and meet the reindeer.

The event also announced the beginning of Season of Hope in Fargo. The program collects and gives away gifts and food to needy families.

“I just wanted to come here today to remind everyone the importance of sharing with those less fortunate.”

Santa's Village is free. People can donate canned food, new or gently used toys and cash to aid families in Cass and Clay counties.
