(WDAY Sports) - Home really has been sweet for the Bison volleyball team. NDSU is 9-0 in the friendly and upgraded confines of the Bison Sports Arena this season.

They've won 19 straight at home, and this week host the Summit League tournament, AKA the only chance for a Summit League team to make the NCAA tournament.

“I think it gives us an extra boost of confidence. We're very comfortable playing on our home court; it's a very tough place for other teams to play in especially with the number of fans we're going to have.”

“Nothing's better than playing at the BBF. At home with the fans that we have, it's a big atmosphere to play in and not many teams are used to it and I think it definitely gives us a step up.”

The semifinals start at five p-m Friday with IUPUI and IPFW, NDSU meets UMKC at 7:30. The championship match is Saturday at seven.
