Updated: Body of duck hunter pulled from Minn. lake

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (AP) - Authorities have identified the duck hunter whose body was recovered from a lake in northwestern Minnesota. Becker County sheriff's officials say 60-year-old Charles Vernon Wright of Minneapolis was apparently in a boat that overturned on Rat Lake.

Authorities have recovered the body of a duck hunter from a lake in northwestern Minnesota.

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (AP) - Authorities have identified the duck hunter whose body was recovered from a lake in northwestern Minnesota.

Becker County sheriff's officials say 60-year-old Charles Vernon Wright of Minneapolis was apparently in a boat that overturned on Rat Lake. His body was pulled from the water about 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Wright would have been 61 on Sunday.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine whether the man drowned or died of a medical condition.
