Farewell reception being held for Chapman

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota State University students and friends are getting a chance to say goodbye to President Joseph Chapman at a formal reception.

The afternoon event is planned in the NDSU Memorial Union.

Chapman is leaving his job at the end of the month, after criticism of his spending. He's been the school's president since 1999.
