Missing Dilworth girl found at Walmart in Detroit Lakes

DILWORTH - Justine Opatril, who had been missing for a day, was found Tuesday evening at the Walmart in Detroit Lakes.

Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist said he was notified about 9:15 p.m. by the Becker County Sheriff’s Department.

Details are sketchy, but Bergquist said it appears 16-year-old Opatril had called someone who then kept her on the phone while authorities were notified.

At approximately 9:25 p.m., Clay County authorities were on their way to pick up Opatril. Bergquist said he had no other details.

Opatril had not been seen since she became upset Monday afternoon and ran into a cornfield near her home about two miles northeast of Dilworth, Bergquist said.
