(WDAY TV) - Students are saying no to destructive decisions and yes to the opportunity to talk about it at a meeting of S.A.A.D. leaders from across the region.
SADD's original focus on students against driving drunk has evolved over the years to now include all kinds of safety uses like binge drinking, teen pregnancy, even pornography.
This regional Students Against Destructive Decisions conference brings together SADD chapter leaders from Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Besides learning more about risks and issues impacting students from the experts, the students also get alone time to share ideas and their experiences.
There are about 350-thousand active SADD members across the country. About 7-thousand of them are in the tri-state area.
