How about the derby girls, even without the Kerstinator, they drew a crowd of more than 18-hundred and would have drawn more than 2-thousand except they ran out of room and all proceeds go to charity. The story gets even better, way to go ladies.
It's hard to know who's more excited for Chuck Gulsvig's new job. Chuck or the referees who called Chuck's games, but I have to tell you, beneath the hard outer shell was a guy who was nothing but accommodating, and friendly, and the guys' a real pro who drove his teams hard and got the best out of his kids. He wasn't the players buddy and never apologized for that. Yes, Moorhead High has lost a great leader.
Wow was I impressed with NDSU's new center, Janae Burich, the other night. I know they weren't playing the Gophers or the Jackrabbits, but Burich is more than just 6-5. She's skilled and agile on the offensive end. Has a nice shooting touch and smart on the defensive end in using her height without creating contact. She could really be a nice player for the Bison.

Final scores are hard to figure, but I know this, because of you, and all the active duty servicemen and women, and the support of their families, we are all winners. So consider this a very modest tickertape parade. You are world champions and so are we because of you.
