Helping soldier transition to college

(WDAY TV) - People at NDSU are making sure it's a smooth transition for any soldiers returning home for school. The school is listening to those veteran students.

There was an open discussion today on campus. People heard from veterans and some of the issues they've had in returning to school and a member from Veterans Re-integration Committee spoke about what the school is doing to respond to their needs.

“Different issues and different concerns that they may have in coming back to campus things that might be different than a student who comes straight from high school.”

People from the school say every year they are seeing more students returning to school after their deployments.
