Fatal two car accident near Big Pine Lake

(WDAY TV) - An accident on icy roads in Otter Tail County has claimed the life of a Perham woman. She has been identified as 37-year old Tristen Lee.

Lee was driving a 2003 Pontiac minivan on County Road 8 near Little Pine Lake at 8:14 a.m. when it collided head-on with a Dodge Caravan driven by 59-year-old Mary Swyter of Perham, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Lee was fatally injured in the crash. Her passengers, 4-year-old Mason Dolen and 8-year-old Sienna Dolen, were injured and taken by ambulance to Perham Memorial Hospital, where they were treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Swyter suffered fractured ankles and was treated at the Perham hospital and transferred to an undisclosed facility.l.
