(WDAY Sports) - The early signing period is just a week away for the Bison men’s basketball team and head coach Saul Phillips is aiming high with one of his two remaining scholarships.

WDAY 6 Sports has learned that Oswego Illinois point guard Jay Harris is visiting NDSU tonight. Harris is six feet tall, 160 pounds and averaged 17 points a game as a high school junior, but his stock took off this summer. And scouts Inc. now has him rated the nation's 15th best point guard, and he's 67th in the ESPN 100 top high school seniors.

Saul Phillips would only confirm that NDSU is recruiting him. Our sources tell us that Duquesne of the Atlantic 10 is the only other school to offer a scholarship.
