2 die in snow-related crash near Fergus Falls
FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – The Minnesota State Patrol says a pickup truck spun out of control on snow-covered roads in west-central Minnesota, leading to a head-on collision that killed two Doran residents.

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – The Minnesota State Patrol says a pickup truck spun out of control on snow-covered roads in west-central Minnesota, leading to a head-on collision that killed two Doran residents.
The State Patrol said the crash occurred early Friday afternoon near the Otter Tail County town of French, about six miles west of Fergus Falls.
Larry Smith, 63, and his 89-year-old mother, Bernice Smith, were in the pickup. They died from injured sustained in the crash. Peggy Smith, 58, suffered non-serious injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
