Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Black Friday sales are no longer just for Black Friday. Stores are racing to get you in their doors for holiday shopping, as consumers report that they'll spend less this year. That means some Black Friday prices are starting right now.

It's only October, so holiday shoppers aren't busting down Sears doors just yet, but those who come in are finding some door buster prices.

Sears is putting out a dose of its Black Friday sales every weekend through December. The General Manager says the goal is to give customers a chance to buy at the lowest prices now, since the economy is tough, and Sears wants to catch shoppers starting to make their scaled-back holiday purchases.

“I hope our customers appreciate that we're trying to give them a deal before Thanksgiving. Not everyone wants to wait at the door, so this will be good for them.”

Most stores are still having their biggest sale weekend after Thanksgiving, but until then, keep your eyes peeled, you'll find some prices slashed as low as they'll go.
