(WDAY Sports) - Monday night means one last blitz from the local football weekend with the best and brightest from the last week of October. We begin in the huddle of the Shanley Deacons.

Santa getting a couple more Saturday's off before he's gotta tackle that list. We start with some sweet feet, Shanley's Josh Rodenbiker, cutting back, looking like "A.P.", just throwing guys off en route to the end zone.

UND quarterback Jake Landry, you know him for his arm, but how bout this, weaving his way thru the Cal Poly "D" for the fantastic touchdown run in a Sioux win.

One of the best hits this week goes to St. Mary's. The big stick on Ryan Smith leads to the touchdown return by Presley Becker. Wahpeton would win the game, however.

And how about D-G-F's Jared Roeloffs, who hits and buries Tom Grookow from United North Central on 4th down, nicely done.

Several nominees for catch of the week, NDSU's Cyrus Lemon with the interception, keeps one foot in too.

Shanley's Tyler Rivard had an interception of his own, flying in for the pick in the Deacons win over Carrington. And Perham’s Ben Walden, adding a little difficulty to this touchdown catch, bobbles but hangs on.

Play of the week goes, unquestionably, to Royalton. They hand to ball off to left guard Derek Fussy, who takes it to the house. Have you ever seen anything like this one? Take a look again; watch Royalton’s left guard, #51. Now that's using your noodle.
