Time running out

If you're looking at buying a house, you may want to soon so you can get help doing so financially.

(WDAY TV) - If you're looking at buying a house, you may want to soon so you can get help doing so financially. The Homebuyer Credit will expire November 30th.

Over the year, it's seen mixed reviews. Some believe it's helping the economy while others feel it's costing the government more than the value of the credit. Congressman Earl Pomeroy feels the credit has been good for the economy and would support an extension.

"So, I’m not entirely certain what the Senate has written into the bill. The version I would favor would take what we have and extend it for a reasonable period into next year."

The Obama Administration is looking at some options but nothing will be decided until more details outlining potential costs are available.
