Minor flooding expected in Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Red River at Fargo after recent rains, but only minor flooding is expected.

Forecasters say the river at Fargo will reach 24 feet by Wednesday night. That is a foot below moderate flood stage.

Last spring, Fargo residents fought off two crests of the Red River — the first at a record 40.82 feet and the second at 34 feet.
