New Fargo high school on schedule

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The new high school in Fargo and its staff are starting to take shape.

Davies High School is scheduled to open in 2011. Principal Jeff Schatz says the recent stretch of rainy weather has not caused any significant construction delays, and crews are still pretty much on schedule.

Schatz also is beginning to assemble a staff. The district recently named three assistant principals. Davies officials next month will start interviewing for head coach positions.

Schatz says teachers will know by the end of the school year whether they will be moving to Davies, so they have the summer and all of next year to prepare.
