Barnseville fills the gym for the food pantry

In Barnesville, Minnesota there is no dome to fill with canned food, but wait until you see what students there are doing for their own hometown. While students from around Fargo-Moorhead are filling the dome, Barnesville will fill its own gym.

In the halls of Barnesville high today, students came loaded down with cans of corn and boxes of beans for their own neighborhood food pantry.

And that's it. All this week, the students have met a challenge. Bring enough canned and boxed food to school this week a school gym can be filled.

As holidays approach, bills don't go away. The pantry expects more families will show up. Meaning all this food from the students will find fill kitchens of families whose kids walk these halls.
