Charged for fatal crash
A Detroit lakes man is now charged with criminal vehicular homicide for the death of an Otter Tail County driver.
Detroit Lakes, Minn. (WDAY TV) - A Detroit lakes man is now charged with criminal vehicular homicide for the death of an Otter Tail County driver.
Authorities say 37-year old Jonathon Bowerman had methamphetamine and marijuana in his body when he drove his van over the center line. His van hit a truck driven by 60-year old William day of Vergas.
Day later died at an area hospital. The crash happened back in march on County Highway 35 near Vergas. Bowerman is back in court again November 9th.
