A piece of one of the nation's most renowned museums is in Casselton.

Casselton, ND (WDAY TV) - A piece of one of the nation's most renowned museums is in Casselton. It's a Smithsonian Exhibit of pictures and stories about the first Midwest pioneers and settlers.

It's called Journey Stories. The traveling exhibit will be at the Old Stone Church in Casselton through November 29th. It's open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 6 and 1 to 6 on the weekends. There's also a special Casselton section.

"There have been interviews of a number of families in the area, and what brought them here."

North Dakota is one of 5 states to host the museum.
