Jamestown, ND (WDAY TV) - A Jamestown church will be inspected this morning after more than two dozen people got sick in the building last Friday.
Five people were flown to the Twin Cities for exposure to carbon monoxide at First Congregational Church. The pastor says ventilation problems may have led to the fumes that made thirty young people and three adults sick.
They were all sleeping in the church Thursday night for a youth retreat. On Friday morning, the fire department got a carbon monoxide reading of 379-parts-per-million. Readings of more than 50 are considered hazardous. Sunday services at the church were cancelled.
