Event supports need for after school programs

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - There was a good turnout of support for a special event showcasing the need for after school programs.
October is North Dakota's Lights on after School month. Tonight, the YMCA of Cass Clay held an event to raise awareness of before and after school programs.
Hundreds of children played games, decorated rooms, and kicked off service learning projects to help homeless. The Y alone has 19 after school programs. Some tailored to academic enrichment.
