Crookston, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Jury selection starts this morning in Crookston for a man accused of brutally raping a woman in Winger, Minnesota last October.

22-year-old Patrick Scott from Crookston faces seven felony charges. He's accused of raping a 24-year-old woman walking home from a bar.

She says Scott dragged her off the doorstep of her cousin's home, into a wooded area where he allegedly raped and punched her whenever she resisted.

Scott remains in the Crookston jail on $250-thousand dollars bail. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. A trial in June ended with a hung jury.
