Spuds with the section semifinals after a shootout

(WDAY Sports) - It wasn't pretty, but it was a thing of beauty. Moorhead and Fergus Falls met in the section semifinals on a muddy chunk of grass with the season on the line.

The jerseys were clean to start, 1-0 Spuds late in the 2nd half, but the Otters respond. Ball loose in the box, it comes to Dallas Cordahl and he shoots and scores!

We're tied at 1 and after 20 minutes of overtime, we go to a shootout. Its 3-1 Moorhead in the shootout, Cordhal shooting for Fergus, but Joe Seaver comes up with the huge save!

Meaning, Noah Julin has the game on his foot and he finishes it off in style! The Spuds are into the section title game! 2-1 the final.
