Football Highlights 10/19

(WDAY Sports) - Monday night means a look back at the best and brightest of the local football weekend and we begin tonight in the huddle of Win-E-Mac.

A bunch of great plays this week. To start things off, some great catches beginning with Red Lake County's Brett Gerardy, nice concentration.

How about Fargo North's Ben Wise with the leaping interception, hauling it in on his back! This next play had a little of everything. First, the great catch by Bagley's Tyler George. He then gets hammered by Barnesville's Austin Martz, wow!

On a 2-point conversion, Ada-Borup's Yuri Johnson with the leaping, juggling catch. How about the guys on the ground? DGF's Bennett Mercil leaps over the defender en route to the end zone.

You can go over 'em, or you can go thru 'em, like Wahpeton's Ryan Smith did here. Smith goes over two-thousand rushing yards for the 2nd consecutive season.

From football to futbol, watch this big collision between South and Mandan. Thankfully, our shooter, Dom Izzo, stayed out of harm's way, but he could not escape the overemotional Sports Director on our final First Down Friday show.
