Metro COG presents Highway 10 feasibility study

Glyndon, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Metro COG is working on improving Highway 10 near Glyndon and tonight, people in town had a chance to give feedback on how to make it better. Tonight, Metro COG workers presented results from the Highway 10 feasibility study.

The study looks at access on the highway, traffic volume, and mobility. Highway 10 is basically Glyndon's main street, and Metro COG workers say they want to spruce it up to help the city grow. They say if the highway had been built today, it would be much different.

“It does not meet the standards that you would typically see for a US truck highway, an inter-regional corridor that is really meant to carry traffic across the state.”

Metro COG will take results from tonight's meeting, and analyze them, then bring more ideas before the public for two more input meetings.
