(WDAY TV) - It's a major find and it's never before been seen in public! It's a documentary film from 1919 shot in the badlands.
The film features friends of Theodore Roosevelt, Medora, and shots of Roosevelt’s ranches. Clay Jenkinson found the film in the library of congress. The film is now a huge addition to the Theodore Roosevelt center at Dickinson State.
"This film will become immediately a classic of North Dakota documentary film about Theodore Roosevelt and so, we're just thrilled."
A lip sync expert will likely be hired to find out what's being said by people in the 30 minute silent film.
