Teenager injured after avoiding a deer on the road

(WDAY TV) - A Pingree North Dakota teenager was injured in an accident in Stutsman County. The victim is 15-year-old Brittany Hannesson.
The accident happened on Highway 36 on Saturday. Authorities say Hannesson got distracted switching gears while a deer was on the road, then the car went into a ditch and hit an approach.
Hannesson was taken to the Jamestown hospital. She was wearing a seatbelt.
