Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - They are igniting the tradition of homecoming at Concordia tonight, in a bright and festive way.
Jake Christiansen Stadium has been transformed from football field to a home for the tradition bonfire and fireworks. Mayor Mark Voxland has the honor of lighting the fire. He was chosen by the students in appreciation for his leadership during the spring flood.
The band Betty Does is also playing tonight. There is a Harvest Ball tomorrow night in the Olson Forum, a homecoming parade Saturday morning at 11 on 8th street, a football game at 1, and concert at 6:30 Saturday in Memorial Auditorium.
