Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Concordia College is hoping a little fake grass will bring some real excitement to campus.

The school today announced plans for a 5 million dollar renovation to the football baseball and soccer complex.

The centerpiece is an artificial playing surface at Jake Christiansen Stadium, similar to NDSU's new practice field, which soccer and football would share.

Locker rooms and lights are also part of the five million dollar package. About a fourth of the money has already been raised. They're hoping the project can be finished in 2-3 years.
